HostCob Terms of Services
As a precondition and requirement to use the HostCob services available via hostcob.com, all the customers hereby accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Services. These Terms of services will be effective immediately as you sign-up with hostcob.com.
1.) Account Setup
You can log-on to hostcob.com and can create your account to purchase any domain name and web hosting related products. We will activate your account at after we have received payment. You are required to fill all information complete and correct at the time of sign-up including your email address which is not @ the domain you are signing up under. We will use this email address to contact you and to send you domain name and web hosting account details so please double check that you are providing us your valid and live email address.
: Your signup date with hostcob.com would be your billing date and it will be used for any recurring payment. To avoid account setup and activation delays, you are required to deposit payments without any delay when using offline payment methods (bank transfer).
2.) Domain Name Registration
If you are going to register a new domain name with HostCob, or transferring a previously registered domain name, under customer's terms of services, clients hereby acknowledges and also confirms in which subscriber's utilization of the domain name of the website can also be governed by the actual procedures with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ("ICANN") and the Domain Registration Agreement, you can read more information here: http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registrars/registrant-rights-responsibilities. Please be sure that the contact information for your domain account is correct and up-to-date. HostCob is not responsible for a registration expiry due to any incorrect or out dated contact information being associated with the domain name. You can change the contact information from your client area at hostcob.com.
We try our best to keep our servers safe from illegal content. HostCob web hosting can only be to used to host the content which must follow the laws of the Indian Government. Adult Websites
having any adult photos, videos, audios, chat, live channels and back links are not allowed in our servers. If we get any master website or even addon domain having such adult content, we may terminate your web hosting account without any notice and you won't get any money back/refund.
Copyrighted or trademark
content is not allowed to host on HostCob servers including any text, images, music, videos, games, applications, e-books or any other copyrighted or trademark content. The claim of original websites and trademark holders will result in the immediate termination of your web hosting account. If you find any website hosted on HostCob servers, copying or using your copyrighted content, please inform us at email@example.com
with the complete issue and related information.
By using our web hosting services you agree to the rules and regulations listed below in accordance with our terms of services:
- You are not allowed to distribute any copyrighted photos, music, movies, games, applications, paid software, scripts and premium web applications like modules, plugins, themes, etc.
- Adult websites are strictly prohibited.
- Shared web hosting accounts are not allowed to use as backup device. To maintain the server quality, please don't take backup of previous backup again and again.
Under our shared web hosting services we do not accept the websites having the below materials:
- Hacking websites/programs/software
- Bruteforce software/scripts/applications
- Casino/Lottery/Gambling Sites
- Websites that having links to illegal and adult content
- Investment Sites
- Live Sport or Audio Streaming
- IP Scanners
- Proxy software/scripts/applications
- Banking software/Bank Debentures
- Untrustworthy websites
- Mirror Scripts/Downloading websites
- Bulk email websites/Spam Scripts
We regularly check the domains hosted on our servers, through our security and spam control tools to maintain the server quality and the laws of Indian Government. We strictly do not accept the materials listed above, if you host any of the above application, you may cause immediate account suspension without any notice and refund.
Please do help us to maintain the server quality and laws by checking the content/material/scripts/applications you are hosting/uploading in our servers are secure and totally virus free.
4.) Data Transfers
If you are migrating from any other web host to HostCob, our transfers team will assist you to transfer your data to HostCob servers. Please note that transfer assistance is provided as a free and courtesy service, and we do not guarantee you about the data transfer because each hosting provider use different operating systems/scripts/configurations. Some of the hosting operating systems/scripts/configurations do not provide the complete and proper format of backup. Sometimes these problems make the transfer process very difficult or impossible, but we will try our best to provide you complete and proper transfer without any data loss.
You can enjoy our free data transfer service for 30 days after the account creation date
. After 30 days you can opt the data transfer as a premium service. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get the pricing quote. Please note that the same things apply with the premium transfer service as we listed in last paragraph.
5.) Spam Control
We use a strict spam control policy to prohibit spam activities in our servers. If any user try to do any suspicious spam activity their account terminated with or without notice.
6.) Payment Information
All the users agree to deposit applicable payment for the particular services provided by HostCob, in advance for the time duration of the service. All the services will be billed on a recurring basis until and unless you submit a ticket us to cancel your service. You can send cancellation request to HostCob by submitting a ticket to sales department through your client area. The cancellation ticket must include complete information including your domain name, cPanel username and password, plan name and the reason why do you want to cancel the service. We take 24-72 hours to cancel the service and we will inform you through email.
It is the responsibility of HostCob users to pay all invoices on time and keep your billing information updated. HostCob provides a 5 day extra time period after the last billing date of the invoice, during this period invoice must be paid. If any invoice that is outstanding for 5 days and not paid will be added 10% amount as late fee or the account will be suspended.
It is the responsibility of the customer to notify our sales team by submitting a sales department ticket after paying for a domain renewal and to ensure the email is received and acted properly. Notifications and invoices related to domain renewal are provided as a courtesy reminder and HostCob will not be responsible for failure to renew a domain name. We renew and bill all the domains automatically 15 days before the expiry date if you choose the credit card as billing mode and save information with us. It's you responsibility to submit a sales department ticket for any domain cancellation request.
And pending invoices that have been billed more than once with multiple Paypal Subscriptions will be added as funds towards the subscriber's HostCob account and cannot be refunded via Paypal. You can submit a ticket to sales department for further assistance.
HostCob reserves all right to change/modify/update the cost of any product/services.
It's your responsibility to keep safe your data or backup. HostCob also provides weekly backup service and takes backup on every Friday so only one week of backups can be provided if needed. Please note that the backup service is provided to you as a courtesy form HostCob. HostCob is not responsible for any type of files/documents/databases/webmails loss on your account. All the customers agree to take sole responsibility to maintain appropriate backups for files/documents/databases/webmails or any other form of data stored on HostCob servers. Any website hosted on shared account using more than 20 gigs of disk space will result as removal from HostCob off site weekly backup, but your Databases will be continued to be backed up. You can store the backup of your data on any other secondary device on your personal level which will help you to protect data loss.
8.) Money back Guarantee and Refund Policy
HostCob reserves all rights to upgrade, downgrade, change, cancel, suspend, terminate or restrict complete access to your HostCob account at any time with or without any prior notice.
HostCob provides an unconditional 30 days money back guarantee on shared and reseller web hosting, to any customer who paid the hosting amount with a online mode. If you are not fully satisfied with HostCob services, you can request a complete refund/money back through, within the first 30 days of your service, you will be provided a full refund of the service. Your hosting account will be terminated within 3 days as the money refunded to you. Any money back or refund request after this 30 days period will be declined whether the account is eligible for a refund or not.
The following payment modes are non-refundable. If your request refunds for the payment supplied through the following modes, refunds/money back will be provided as credits to the HostCob hosting account (you can use these credits for further purchase):
- Bank Wire Transfers
- Bank Accounts Cash Deposits
- Cash Deposits
- Money orders
In general, any offline payments are non-refundable whether it is eligible for refunds or not, refunds will be added as credits to your account.
Please note that only first-time accounts are eligible for a refund/money back. If you've had any other previous account with us, canceled and signed up again, you will not be eligible for a refund/money back or if you have opened a second account with us. We do not provide full money back/refunds on VPS and dedicated servers. HostCob reserve the rights to refund a prorated amount or no refund at all.
Subscribers signing up for the only purpose of getting a refund/money back would be flagged as people misusing our money back Guarantee. We use the records of other similar hosting providers to identify such people who try to downgrade the performance of our servers against our terms of services. If we found any one using our refund policy misuse or use our servers to store bulk of data just for the money back guarantee period, we will not provide any refund/money back to such people.
Violations of our terms of service will result in rejection of refund/money back request. Resource usage limitations are listed below. You may not:
Use 30% or more of CPU resources for longer then 120 seconds.
Take backup of backups.
Run any MySQL queries longer than 15 seconds. MySQL tables should be optimized.
Run any cron entries from cPanel with intervals of less than 15 minutes.
Run any spammer tool.
Run any malware software.
Shared hosting is just for local business purpose webistes, you can not host international business based website with high traffic on shared hosting. You have to opt VPS or Decated hosting for this purpose.
9.) Price Change/Upgrade
HostCob reserves all the rights to change/update prices mentioned on hostcob.com, and the rights to update the resources provided with any plan. You are required to keep yourself updated with your plans.
HostCob shall not be any kind of responsible for any deficiency your online or offline business may face. HostCob do not make any kind of warranties and guarantees for any service we provide. HostCob disclaims any warranty for a particular purpose. This includes any type of loss of data resulting from delays, no deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and any other service interruptions caused by HostCob or its employees.
11.) Changes to the Terms of Services
HostCob reserves all the rights to change/update its terms of services and refund policies at any time with or without any prior notice.
